WebNMS, Calsoft Labs Simplify Virtual Services for Service Providers
WebNMS, a provider of multi-vendor network management and IOT solutions, and Calsoft Labs, a pioneer in network-functions virtualization (NFV) and software-defined networking (SDN) services, have partnered to help service providers increase their revenue and reduce costs by delivering virtual services on their existing networks. The collaborative offering, which integrates the WebNMS Symphony Orchestration platform with Calsoft's NFV solutions, provides network providers with unified multi-vendor network management, flexible service orchestration and a range of virtual appliances.
The Symphony platform combines multi-vendor carrier network management solutions, based on the WebNMS Framework, with the Composer Workflow Framework that helps providers automate their unique operations. Calsoft Labs offers services to help network operators simplify multi-vendor network management, end-to-end service provisioning and SLA monitoring for Carrier Ethernet services. Together, the new offering allows service providers to use their existing network and service management processes as orchestration systems that automate existing operations and incorporate new, on-demand services, the companies said.
