MongoHQ, DigitalOcean Announce Partnership

The partnership leverages the strengths of both companies: MongoHQ’s provision of production-ready databases and DigitalOcean’s expertise in automating infrastructure.

The partnership is aimed at allowing developers who want to host their data with DigitalOcean to receive the full benefits of MongoDB, leveraging quick deployment without the complexity of spinning up a new server, or the concerns of time, resources and risk associated with leveraging a new database, according to MongoHQ. This is expected to give developers more freedom to focus on creating applications instead of managing infrastructure.
