PricewaterhouseCoopers 2011 Global State of Information Security Survey showed that economic conditions have had a serious effect on IT spending. This annual assessment of security spending and practices across a massive group of IT and line of business leaders at companies worldwide reveals priorities in security spending as well as vulnerabilities that are left. This year's survey and report was based on the responses of 12,840 CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, CSOs, vice presidents and directors of IT and information security from 135 companies.
