As maker of one of the lesser-known remote monitoring and management tools for MSPs, HoundDog Technology is aiming to sniff out some more market share with its referral program.
HoundDog Technology is aiming to become the solution provider's best friend by offering inexpensive remote monitoring and management tools and incentives to bring more solution providers into the den. The company announced Nov. 6 a new referral (or "Rufferral," in HoundDog parlance) program that offers participating solution providers 20 percent of first-year HoundDog revenues of any IT support companies they have referred. That would be a pretty impressive commission for what could be very little work.HoundDog is one of those rare products that successfully sells itself. When a solution provider enters the managed services realm, HoundDog helps it offer RMM capability at a price that both is affordable and offers decent margins, all without complex contracts and minimum seat requirements.
