Older workers have greater security appreciation
In general younger people tend to think they're invincible, so it should come as no surprise that they tend to think the same in cyberspace. That's part of the reason it's becoming more difficult to sell security technologies, unless the person doing the buying is of a certain more experienced age.

But regardless of age, a new survey of 1,245 end users conducted by Dimensional Research on behalf of Zone Alarm, a unit of Check Point Software Technologies, finds that more people than ever expect security software to be free, which means if solution providers want to make money in the security space they need to emphasize their expertise more than the technology.
