Avnet will distribute and support the company's telephony management and call accounting systems to its VoIP partnersAvnet Technology Solutions announced this week that it has reached an agreement to offer telecommunications management and call accounting systems from Veramark Technologies. Avnet will offer the systems with its existing telephony offerings, including IP telephony systems from Avaya.
Avnet is building our IP telephony solutions for channel partners by selecting technology vendors based on their ability to work across multiple platforms, and support a wide variety of market segments," said Jack Morris, vice president of Avnet's Technology & Market Solutions group, in a prepared statement. "Veramark's innovative telecommunications applications have set the industry standard for call accounting software, and serve both the SMB and enterprise space. Avnet's partners will be able to offer their customers an IP telephony solution that not only reduces their costs, but also improves security, increases their telecommunications capabilities and enhances productivity."
Avnet will provide channel partners with support for Veramark's systems through its Technology and Market Solutions Group. The partnership with Veramark is part of a program by Avnet to help its channel partners build new solution practices around technologies like IP telephony.
