Arrow Electronics' MOCA Division announces a Government Growth Initiative program to help Sun iForce partners get a piece of the federal government's $60B IT pie.

The federal government has allocated nearly $60 billion for computing, software and IT services and the MOCA Division of Arrow Electronics' is working to insure Sun iForce partners take advantage of it. Today the division announced a new "Government Growth Initiative" program to help iForce partners take advantage of IT allocations in the federal government's 2005 fiscal budget.

"Government resellers have long been a substantive segment of Arrow's Sun partner base, and in recent years these partners have had a lot of growth," said Rich Severa, president, MOCA Division. "Our Government Growth Initiative provides a multitude of new programs that will help our iForce partners penetrate federal agencies faster and deeper than their competitors."

As part of the program, Arrow has negotiated a relationship with INPUT, a market intelligence firm based in Washington DC to help companies successfully compete in the government arena. The relationship will provide such advantages as exclusive subscriber benefits to INPUT's services and additional analyses of INPUT's data.
