Mark Slaga, chief technology officer of Cisco's largest reseller, Dimension Data, uses his Facebook account's group memberships to test ideas and increase his personal networking. Slaga uses the Groups function of Facebook (pictured here) to do this.

"I leverage it for building relationships and sharing ideas outside of Dimension Data," said Slaga, who is also CIO of Dimension Data America. "Like the analyst community. Most of them are on Facebook, and it's part of sharing thoughts and information back and forth. Then there are communities."
