Re-Imagining Linux Platforms to Meet the Needs of Cloud Service Providers
Channel Insider is partnering with MSPtv, an online video channel dedicated to the education of managed service providers, to produce “MSP Spotlight,” a new live monthly talk show on sales, marketing and business optimization issues that concern MSPs and cloud computing providers.
Channel Insider and MSPtv, a video production arm of Zenith InfoTech, are partnering to produce "MSP Spotlight," a monthly live video talk show on sales, marketing and business optimization in managed services and cloud computing. The show will air on MSPtv.net.
"MSP Spotlight," sponsored by Zenith InfoTech, is hosted by Carolyn April, editor of Channel Insider, and Lawrence M. Walsh, vice president and market expert at Ziff Davis Enterprise.
"The managed services marketplace is rich with best practices for going to market, communicating value with customers and aligning business models for optimal return. MSP Spotlight will be a forum where members of this vibrant community share their experiences and methods for achieving success in managed services," says Walsh.
The show will feature fresh, research-driven insights into managed services trends, appearances by leading MSP practitioners and perspective by market experts.
"MSP Spotlight" premieres Friday, Jan. 29 at 2 p.m. ET, and will be broadcast live from the MSPtv studios in Pittsburgh. The first show, "True Managed Services TCO," will explore how end users calculate the total cost of ownership for IT investments and how to use managed services as a comparative benchmark for savings. This episode will feature Ron Culler, the chief technical officer of Secure Designs, and Ken Totora, vice president of worldwide sales and channels at Heit.
Future installments will examine issues such as using regulatory compliance as a selling tool, services marketing that resonates with end users, and realigning and training sales teams for success in managed services.
