IBM's software division announced it is severing ties with Synnex as a distributor of its software products in the U.S. as of October.

IBM and Synnex are ending their distribution agreement in the U.S. for IBM software as of Oct. 1st, 2009, which follows on an announcement last October that had the two companies parting ways over IBM System x products.
