Pexip Enterprise Collaboration Platform Available on AWS

Pexip, a developer of scalable, distributed collaboration software, announced that the latest version of its Infinity enterprise collaboration platform can be deployed on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform. The platform ties together enterprise communication solutions such as Microsoft Skype for Business, legacy video and telephone conferencing, and Web-based communications. Infinity is available as Amazon AMIs (Application Machine Images) for the AWS cloud.

iGov Launches New Website

iGov, a federal systems integrator and IT value-added reseller, launched its new Website that provides up-to-date content about the company's capabilities, career opportunities and partners. Improvements include providing a rich user experience, regardless of the platform from desktop to the mobile phone.

CoreSite Signs Telarus as Master Agent

CoreSite Realty Corp., a provider of cloud-enabled data center solutions in the United States, announced that Telarus, a national distributor of network, unified communications and cloud services, has joined the CoreSite Channel Program as one of its Master Agents. Telarus will offer CoreSite's portfolio of co-location services and products to its network of more than 2,000 independent agents.

Avnet Names First Chief Information Security Officer

Avnet, a global technology distributor, named Sean Valcamp to the company's newly created role of chief information security officer (CISO). Valcamp will be responsible for Avnet's global IT security in addition to enterprise architecture and strategic planning for IT. Valcamp has more than 25 years of IT experience in IT security, technology strategy, enterprise architecture and solutions development.

Metalogix Adds Public-Sector Exec

To leverage growing opportunities in federal, state and local government as well as education and public-sector organizations, Metalogix, a provider of unified cloud software to migrate, manage and secure content across enterprise collaboration platforms, appointed Tod Tompkins vice president, public-sector sales. Tompkins has more than 20 years of enterprise software experience, including at Microsoft and EMC's software division.

Carbonite Appoints New Channel Exec

Carbonite, a provider of cloud and hybrid business continuity solutions for small and midsize businesses (SMBs), appointed Jessica Couto vice president of North American channel sales to lead channel sales and marketing with an enhanced product portfolio and expanded channel partner programs.
