CBT Nuggets Forms Partnership With Google
CBT Nuggets, an e-learning company that creates on-demand online IT training, is partnering with Google to provide training for Google Cloud Platform, a suite of cloud-based services that enables users to create a range of programs from Websites to applications. CBT Nuggets, an official Google Cloud Platform training partner, provides self-paced online training for Google Cloud Platform services.
The company currently offers five training courses: Google App Engine: Qualified Developer, Google Cloud Storage: Qualified Developer, Google Cloud SQL: Qualified Developer, Google Compute Engine: Qualified Developer, and Google BigQuery: Qualified Developer.

GetCloudServices Joins Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider Program
GetCloudServices (GCS), a provider of cloud server and desktop-as-a-service hosting, joined the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider Program. The move allows the company to provide direct billing, sell combined offers and services, as well as directly provision, manage and support Microsoft cloud offerings.
As a partner, GCS owns the complete customer lifecycle allowing the company to sell and support Office 365 and Windows Intune subscriptions and help customers leverage cloud services by owning the entire billing cycle and directly managing support. GCS' value-added services include Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance, daily backup, security and encryption for email, and 24/7 professional support.
ScienceLogic Claims First Comprehensive Multicloud IT Monitoring Platform
ScienceLogic announced complete monitoring and dependency mapping for Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and VMware vCloud Air as well as on-premises IT elements. The consolidated multicloud coverage is said to enable enterprises to discover, assess, run and operate their IT resources in multiple clouds, helping them proactively detect performance across all clouds from a single pane of glass.
Key functionality includes support for all major multicloud environments, including private cloud, from the same software installation; visual mapping of dependencies across technologies, regardless of where they reside (public or private cloud); and a single hybrid IT monitoring platform for the entire IT stack, including networks, systems, storage, applications and cloud elements. Other features include dashboarding, multi-tenancy, high security, reporting, event management, runbook automation and asset tracking across multiple clouds, from a single code base.
CipherCloud, Cloud Security Alliance Form Partnership
CipherCloud, a provider in cloud visibility and data protection, and the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) are forming a Cloud Security Open API Working Group to jointly define protocols and best practices for implementing cloud data security as a part of the cloud access security broker (CASB) framework. Deloitte, InfoSys, Intel Security, SAP and other technology leaders will also contribute. The new working group will provide guidance on vendor-neutral data-security implementation to help drive cloud services adoption.

Kordia Joins Asigra Partner Ecosystem
Asigra, a cloud backup, recovery and restore software provider, announced that Kordia, a telecommunications provider based in New Zealand, has joined the Asigra partner ecosystem to deliver backup and recovery services powered by the Asigra Cloud Backup software platform.
