Continuity Software Unveils New Channel Partner Program
Continuity Software, a provider of service availability risk management offerings, has launched its global AvailabilityGuard Channel Partner Program, which is open to new channel partners around the globe, enabling them to offer the AvailabilityGuard software suite to customers in their respective markets. This offering provides high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) across physical, virtual and cloud environments.
Previously, Continuity Software engaged with VARs, system integrators, distributors, managed service providers (MSPs) and consultants in select countries. Program benefits include early road map access and influence, demand generation and lead referral, deal registration, AvailabilityGuard Risk-Free Assessments, and sales and engineering training and support.

Site24x7 Launches Partner Program
Site24x7, which provides cloud infrastructure monitoring services, has launched its Site24x7 partner program, which enables cloud, platform and service providers to offer Website, server and application performance management to their customers. The company offers Web page analyzer, Web application monitoring and application performance monitoring services.
Partners can join the program either as referral partners or reseller partners. Referral partners, such as cloud providers or Web hosting companies and platform service providers, can distribute Site24x7 as an added service to their base product offering. D&H Distributing Unveils Disaster Recovery Initiative
D&H Distributing is enhancing its resources for resellers in the area of backup and disaster recovery (BDR) for products such as storage devices, virus protection, automatic backup solutions, power supply units, and small and midsize business (SMB) server solutions.
As part of the disaster recovery initiative, the distributor will offer training opportunities and materials, including an interactive Solutions Lab webcast, to help resellers understand and communicate the importance of DR to SMB customers.
The initiative was launched in part due to the Microsoft Server 2003 support deadline in July 2015. Many SMB companies still maintain a Server 2003 architecture and run Windows XP computers, which present further upgrade opportunities for VARs, noted D&H.
2nd Watch Simplifies AWS Deployments
2nd Watch, a provider of cloud deployment, management and monitoring services, offers a new service delivery model to simplify options and pricing for companies migrating applications and data to Amazon Web Services (AWS). The new CM3 model is based on repeatable cloud "building blocks" of services, which are priced separately, to reduce cost and speed implementation time.
The building blocks include dozens of predefined services such as cloud readiness assessment, cloud road map, proof of concept, security compliance, implementation services and detailed architectural design. The company calls it a service catalog approach for its cloud offerings, which is designed to make it much easier for customers to evaluate, bundle and purchase cloud deployment services.
