LG-Ericsson USA announced the availability of the latest in its line of business communications solutions to support small to medium-size business voice, video and data communications management needs, the iPECS-MG Business-Enabled Communications System. Available through LG-Ericsson's certified resellers, the iPECS-MG system, a software tool that facilitates centralized configuration and monitoring of all connected devices, both on-premises and remote, offers the functionality of a traditional PBX with the addition of features such as Unified Communications (UC) for conferencing--voice and video--data collaboration, remote and roaming user support and scalability.
Scalable and extensible, each on-site iPECS-MG server supports up to 414 ports, and as many as 250 devices can be networked across multiple locations to support large numbers of local or remote users across various distances.
As a standalone solution, the iPECS-MG can be combined with a range of LG-Ericsson voice and data products and accessories to create a converged business communications system. Its telephony features and value-added applications, in addition to support for a range of fixed or mobile LG-Ericsson handsets (IP or digital), conference phones and soft clients enable configurations centered on the iPECS-MG Business-Enabled Communications System to meet the needs of a variety of businesses.
For data communications, LG-Ericsson's portfolio of data communications networking products include a list of certified and proven Ethernet switches for high-speed data transfer, secure Internet access, VOIP Quality of Service (QoS) and Power over Ethernet (PoE). Telephony features range from the basic to the advanced, including door phone, alarm, paging, music on hold, DN (directory number), tandem switching, tenant group, auto attendant, voice mail, call routing, last-call redial and others.

The system is the newest addition to LG-Ericsson's portfolio of integrated voice-video-data communications solutions. The portfolio covers a range of price points, extending from the small ipLDK-60 hybrid communications system to the new SMB-focused iPECS-MG, to the top-to-bottom Pure IP iPECS-LIK system. The system is backed by LG-Ericsson USA's 5-year warranty and U.S. headquarters-based technical support.
