Every channel-centric vendor strives to build and maintain solid, well-oiled
channel programs that provide their partners with products, training, support,
marketing and the opportunity to earn profits. But only a handful of vendors

awarded top honors to Hewlett-Packard in the Class A category and Fortinet in
Class B.
The Partner Program of the Year in the Class A considered vendors with more

recognition, HP was the true standout. HP distinguished itself by helping
partners make a big push into the lucrative SMB marketplace. It also made
several improvements to its PartnerOne program.

The Partner Program of the Year in the Class B considered vendors with less
than $1 billion in revenues. Many vendors were considered for the honor in this
class, but Fortinet rose to the top. Fortinet continues to build by releasing
channel-friendly products, providing excellent partner support and building out
a vibrant community. The strength of its channel is one of the biggest factors
that allowed Fortinet to go public in one of the most challenging economic
years.
