Close to 30 companies were in contention for the Managed Service Provider of the Year in this year's Channel Insider Bull’s Eye Awards. Among them are those specializing in Website and print managed services, one with 16 acquisitions under its belt and another that counts the Atlanta Falcons as a customer. Who’s the winner?

Saratoga Technologies
Saratoga Technologies is an up-and-comer with six focus areas and four office locations offering complete managed services to its clients. The company has offered managed services since 2003, but distinguishes itself beyond a portfolio of traditional IT services served in the managed services model. Saratoga also offers Websites and hosting as a managed service, printer and copier managed services, as well as software as a service and hardware as a service. It has over 1,300 active clients, and more than half of its revenue is service-related.

One such service, Saratoga Sentry, is a comprehensive IT management service at a fixed and affordable monthly cost. It provides total management of customers' networks, servers, PCs and printers. Saratoga's technology allows it to proactively fix issues before they turn into problems and instantly attend to a problem to prevent a disaster. Options include network monitoring, server management, desktop support and security monitoring.

The company has grown significantly since its start and is acquisitive, snapping up 16 companies in the last six years. It is looking to continue that type of growth.
