ARRC Technology
Network managed services provider ARRC Technology has been
serving the technology market for over 17 years. Started in 1992, the
company has grown from a PC repair shop to a $200,000-a-month MSP that
provides a unique hardware licensing product to clients through its
reseller community.
ARRC’s CharTec solution is branded as a “hardware as a service,” or
“HaaS.” The service provides customers with hardware refreshes and
licensing as part of its managed services offerings. ARRC designs and
builds its own hardware and supplies it to customers and offers
hardware upgrades every three years.
Just like any MSP offering, the cost savings message speaks loudly
to customers and prospects, but ARRC is unique in that the company is
providing MSP value with hardware. HaaS customers enjoy the elimination
of upfront cost for hardware, the peace of mind knowing the network is
standardized, and 24/7 monitoring and support for one flat
monthly investment.
ARRC also provides an array of other IT services, including
networking, custom computer systems, network design, telecommunications
systems, installation, maintenance and support.
ARRC has grown organically since its founding in 1992 and has never
taken venture money or loans. Instead, President Alex Rogers sold his
only asset, a horse named Trooper, for $300 and borrowed a desk from a
friend. The company, based in Bakersfield, Calif., now has 50
employees.
