Security breaches are on the rise, according to a new study conducted by cloud security company Veracode and Forrester Research. The survey found 62 percent of businesses experienced a security breach in the last 12 months. Among the findings, the exploitation of vulnerabilities in software is a major cause of data breaches with 62 percent of companies responding that they have experienced security breaches which exploited vulnerabilities in software in the last 12 months.
