MailSweeper Business Suite is a combination of anti-spam software, secure messaging and e-mail-content-policy enforcement. It's priced at $16,425 for 1,000 licenses and one year of support.
The product worked well in my tests, and IT managers will likely find the functions an easy-to-manage, sensible combination of messaging tools. It is interesting to watch e-mail message management systems rolling components together: IT managers will likely see more of this and will probably be able to negotiate acquisition costs.
I think maintenance costs for the MailSweeper Business Suite are fair, given that spam filtering still involves a great deal of vendor staff time to keep up-to-date.
