Rather surprisingly CIOs rated the security of VARs as the lowest priority influencing them, with only 5 percent considering security when choosing a service provider, according to Ziff Davis Enterprise Research.  With security being such a hot topic at every level, not checking the security of a VAR that a company is about to work with presents a risk that CIOs seem prepared to take.
