    Solution and service providers across the country are strapped for IT and sales talent. Recent reports say that as many as 27 percent of the channel are struggling to find new talent and a near equal number is finding it harder to keep good people.

    Solution providers know the drill: find a diamond in the rough, train him and then watch as a competitor snaps him up with more money. Worse, the level of competition is driving up salaries and compensation packages, making it harder to meet prospective technology and sales employees’ expectations.
