Are your customers running multiple servers or data centers? It may be time to do an audit of their energy efficiency with an eye toward reducing costs on electricity consumed both by the equipment and by cooling. The EPA estimates that data centers consume 1.5 percent of power in the United States. Sun recently announced an Eco specialization for its partners with power savings as a driving force behind it. Cutting power use is both green and can reduce costs for your customers.
