The Impact of the Economic Slowdown: What They Said
While the survey was conducted
before the September 2008 Wall Street meltdown, a third of the
midmarket IT executives said they were not being impacted by the
economic slowdown.
Of the two-thirds who said they were impacted, 43 percent said the economic slowdown has made their jobs more stressful.
Other effects of the slowdown:
Limits ability to expand: 31 percent
Decreases company efficiency: 17 percent
Raises concerns over a less stable and less secure infrastructure: 17 percent
