    N-Able launches a new program to introduce resellers to managed services, ATEN Technology revamps its VAR program, Sepaton increases its presence in Asia, Bell Microproducts partners with Anthology Solutions, and Zantaz optimizes its e-mail archiving solution for Microsoft hosted messaging and collaboration.

  • N-able Partner Program Provides Intro to Managed Services

    N-able Technologies, an IT management software and business transformation services vendor based in Ottawa, Canada, has announced a 30 day quick-start program to help resellers and systems integrators become MSPs (managed service providers).

    The MSP StartUP program, available to channel partners in the United States and Canada, will provide resellers and systems integrators with the company's MonITor Online network availability and performance monitoring solution as well as instruction in the MSP business model.

    In addition, N-able will work with resellers to segment, identify and conduct joint sales calls to sign up lead customers, according to CEO Mark Scott.

  • ATEN Technology Upgrades VAR Program

    ATEN Technology Inc., a vendor of KVM (keyboard/video/mouse) and remote connectivity solutions in Irvine, Calif., has upgraded its Six Star VAR program to help resellers increase profits and accelerate growth.

    The improved program features a larger set of Web-based tools including access to product and competitive data sheets, white papers, high-resolution product shots and FAQs.

    ATEN Technology also has joined the North American System Builders Association, a channel reseller association that will provide the company with sales and marketing tools and insight into the reseller industry, which, in turn, will help the company build relationships with its resellers, according to CEO Sampson Yang.

  • Sepaton Increases Presence in Asia Pacific

    Sepaton Inc., a data protection vendor in Marlborough, Mass., has announced two new distribution partnerships in the Asia Pacific region, shoring up the company's presence in the region.

    The new agreements are with Digital Technologies Corp. of Tokyo, Japan, and Sam Boo System Corp. of Seoul, Korea.

    Both companies will resell Sepaton's data protection solutions in their markets.

  • Bell Microproducts to Distribute Anthology Solutions

    Bell Microproducts of San Jose, Calif., has become a distributor of Yellow Machine Terabyte Storage Appliances from Anthology Solutions Inc. of Santa Clara, Calif.

    Under the terms of the distribution agreement, Bell Microproducts will distribute the company's line of RAID-based storage appliances, which integrate NAS (network attached storage), RAID, an eight-port Ethernet switch, a WAN router, a double firewall, e-mail archiving, scheduled backups and Web access control.

  • Zantaz EAS Optimized for Microsoft Hosted Messaging and Collaboration

    Zantaz Inc. of Pleasanton, Calif., has optimized its e-mail archiving solution, EAS (Enterprise Archive Solution), for the Microsoft Solution for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration.

    The optimized solution, called Zantaz EAS for Exchange, will allow service providers to implement the solution more easily to their customers and help them more easily migrate from Exchange 5.5 or equivalent messaging platform to Exchange 2003.
