    Ingram Micro Named HP PartnerONE Distributor

    Ingram Micro Inc., of Santa Ana, Calif., has been named an HP PartnerONE Distributor partner—a designation that enables the company to offer more services to Hewlett-Packard Co. resellers.

    Ingram Micro will use its status as a PartnerONE Distributor partner to develop activities and promotional campaigns targeted to HP resellers. It will also offer cross-selling programs and attach-rate techniques to help HP solution providers develop more complex HP-based solutions. Other services offered to HP resellers include HP-dedicated field sales representatives, vertical market knowledge, field-deployable engineers, financing options, and access to Ingram Micro's solution centers for training and hands-on product demonstrations.

    Brocade Launches Tapestry Partner Program

    Brocade Communications Systems Inc. has introduced a partner program designed to help its channel partners sell more products and services in its Tapestry line of IT infrastructure management solutions, which includes Tapestry Wide Area File Services and Tapestry Application Resource Manager.

    The Brocade Tapestry Fabric Partner Program offers training, certification, marketing, sales and technical support for solution providers. Sales and marketing support includes access to a secure partner Web site, sales guides, presentations, a half-day lead generation workshop and simulated product demonstrations. Other features include the Brocade WAFS ROI calculator, online training Webcasts, best practice guides, technical briefs and instructor-led technical training for accreditation.

    Agami Systems Signs Two Distribution Agreements

    Agami Systems Inc., of Sunnyvale, Calif., has signed distribution agreements with both Bell Microproducts, of San Jose, Calif., and the MICA Division of Arrow Electronics Inc., of Englewood, Colo., enabling them both to distribute Agami Systems' NAS (network attached storage) products to solution providers throughout the United States and Canada.

    The agreement with Bell Microproducts enables Bell to sell Agami information server solutions to VARs and systems integrators throughout North America, while the deal with Arrow Electronics makes Arrow a premier distributor of Agami information server.

    In addition, Agami Systems and Arrow's MOCA Division have developed a certified reseller training program, providing support to qualified VARs with technical training, marketing support, customized marketing campaigns and demand generation activities.

    Syspro Upgrades Online Access for Resellers

    Enterprise software vendor Syspro, of Costa Mesa, Calif., has unveiled the Syspro USA Portal, a new information portal that will allow resellers and end users to access technical product information and other content 24 hours a day.

    In addition, resellers now can use Syspro's CRM (customer resource management) self-service technical portal to log service tickets directly online into the CRM system.

    Iron Mountain Expands in Asia/Pacific Through Acquisitions

    Iron Mountain Inc., of Boston, has acquired the Australian and New Zealand operations of records management company Pickfords Records Management of Melbourne, Australia, enabling it to begin expanding in the Asia/Pacific region.

    By expanding into Australia and New Zealand, Iron Mountain can better serve its enterprise customers looking for partners in those regions, said CEO Richard Reese.

    Dynamic Solutions OEMs Overland Storage's REO

    Data processing and storage management solution provider Dynamic Solutions International, of Englewood, Colo., will OEM Overland Storage's REO 4000 and REO 9000 disk-based backup and recovery appliances with Protection OS as well as the NEO 2000 tape library.
