Certifications can provide you with an edge over your uncertified competitors when it comes to winning end-customers. If you are certified and another company bidding on the same deal is uncertified, customers may view you as the better choice in spite of pricing differences. Some RFPs may specify that the winner of the deal must hold certain certifications.
