Under CEO Robert Dutkowsky, Tech Data has aggressively expanded its services, support and solutions offerings for its more than 100,000 reseller customers worldwide with new divisions and channel initiatives for SMBs (small and midsize businesses), large enterprises and government agencies. These are the top five initiatives for 2008 and the channel execs behind them.

2008 Tech Data Channel Initiatives
and the Execs Behind Them

Networking: Physical Security, Telephony and Wireless Specialized Business Units and Chuck Bartlettā€”VP, Networking Product Marketing

The Networking Division at Tech Data is focused on helping resellers capitalize on emerging technologies with SBUs (specialized business units) in the areas of Physical Security, Telephony and Wireless. Focusing on these areas can enable resellers to build services revenue and leverage their technical skills. The division's exclusive CapacityBuilder program enables Cisco resellers to leverage Tech Data's services to increase billable hours, build profit and streamline operations.

Bartlett leads Tech Data's networking business. He joined the company in 2006 with two decades of IT sales, marketing and distribution experience.
