Extreme Networks has launched a new program aimed at rewarding channel sales reps for participating in various promotions.

Similar to an airline travel rewards program, the ExtremeRewards program offers the ability to accrue points for participating in the four different categories of promotions. The points can then be used to get various prizes such as trips and electronics through the Extreme Networks partner portal. The vendor chose to work with Perks.com to build the new program.

"When we started analyzing the market and looking at the companies that provide these kind of services, it became very clear to us if we could consolidate a lot of the rewards we have, we would not only provide a more comprehensive program for our partners, but also for us, it would give us a way to react much faster, get more creative and increase mindshare with our partners, as well," said Christopher Rajiah, director of North American channels at Extreme Networks.
