A PC Tune-Up to Improve Vista Performance
( Page 1 of 9 )

PC Tune-Up is one of those utilities that proves to be worth the price of admission. The product offers both a solution to real problems and can drive service revenue for solution providers looking to add PC Tune-Up to their bandoleer of utilities.

One of the biggest complaints users have about Vista  is slow performance. With Vista, slow boot ups and application launches are mostly the nature of the beast. After all Vista is chock full of services and code to help protect users from threats.

Large Software is taking on the speed challenge with PC Tune-Up, a utility which cleans registries, eliminates unnecessary services and gives users control of  startup options. Large Software is  marketing PC Tune-Up as an end-user tool for Vista PCs, but VARs can turn the product into an installed service, where they sell the software, installation and first tune up as one of their offerings. PC Tune-Up also works with XP, which over time seem to slow down. At $29.99, the product is cheap, but solution providers shouldn’t expect to garner much money from the product; profit will have to come from the installation and the initial run of PC Tune-Up.
