Unified communications companies partner with carriers.

But that doesn’t mean Polycom wasn’t ready to work on a number of partnerships as executives from the company promised in the wake of all of Cisco’s high-profile announcements. Most recently, Polycom announced a partnership with BT for unified communications, including video conferencing. Not to be outdone, Cisco soon after announced a similar partnership with BT around unified communications.
