While most resellers agree that managed services make sense as part of a future business plan, it's often hard to make the leap. Now the ASCII Group is offering a way for VARs to get started with its ASCII MSP Fuel offering, based on Kaseya.

Resellers looking to get into managed services now have yet another option to choose from with the introduction of ASCII MSP Fuel from the ASCII Group.

The community of independent resellers says that ASCII MSP Fuel is currently in beta and is being powered by Kaseya, a provider of software and services to MSPs.

The new offering includes remote control, monitoring, patching, help desk, time control, billing and reporting. Agents deploy in minutes, according to the ASCII Group.

“We recognized the value managed services played for our community at the very early stages,” says Jerry Koutavas, president of the ASCII Group, in a prepared statement. “This is just another ongoing effort by ASCII to reinforce and help our members move in the right direction if they have not already implemented a managed services strategy today.”

The ASCII MSP Fuel offering includes tools, templates and training to help new MSPs get a jump start with the new business model.
