HP is embarking on what could be a seismic shift in corporate strategy. The company's CEO Leo Apotheker outlined his vision for the future of his tech giant recently, saying that the cloud and software will become central to HP's future identity. Apotheker's changes to HP's vision have taken some by surprise. For years, HP has been the company delivering computers to enterprise customers and consumers. It also has delivered a slew of outstanding enterprise-focused services to companies looking to do more with their operations at a much lower cost. That focus has helped define HP.
