Technology giant Hewlett-Packard unveiled its “Just Right IT”
portfolio, which includes new server, printer and PC products designed
and priced for the small to medium-size business space. The
portfolio includes VOIP (Voice over IP) and wireless offerings, data
availability and data protection solutions along with digital imaging
and server offerings.
Hardware solutions include the the V-M200 802.11n Access Point Series,
which connects up to 64 simultaneous mobile users to the network, the
HP VCX 9.5 IP Telephony system and 350x IP Phones, which enable the
convergence of voice and data onto a single network infrastructure, and
the Virtualization Smart Bundles with Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008 R2,
consisting of storage, servers and networking technology
The 10GbE iSCSI capabilities of the StorageWorks P2000 G3 Modular Smart
Array (MSA) are designed to speed the server/storage connection
bandwidth by 10 times, Data Protector Express 5.0 software offers small
businesses with limited IT departments the ability to manage backup and
recovery, and the P4000 Virtual SAN Appliance (VSA) software offers
clients with virtualized servers the ability to move to shared storage
without purchasing a physical storage area network infrastructure.

The Officejet Pro 8500A e-All-in-One series and Officejet 7500A Wide
Format e-All-in-One are wide-format all-in-one printers with Web
connectivity. They include HP ePrint and print apps, allowing users to
send print jobs from any mobile device and access content from the Web
without a PC. The Officejet Pro 8500A delivers professional color while
the Officejet 7500A offers a low cost per page and prints up to 13 by
19 inches.
The solutions are available through HP channel partners and directly
from HP. Through HP Financial Services, the company’s leasing and life
cycle asset management services division, SMBs are offered a range of
financing solutions designed to help them manage budgets as they
upgrade their business technology. The HP Financial Services Channel
Partner Program is a financing solution that provides authorized
channel partners with financing solutions for their customers’ IT
environments.
