    Distributor Tech Data will help ISVs to better leverage Microsoft's ISV Royalty Licensing Program. The program is designed to help ISVs sell their software apps integrated with Microsoft products such as Exchane, SQL Server, Office and Sharepoint.

    Tech Data Corp. announced it will assist independent software vendors (ISVs) with new software licensing services and support. Tech Data will help ISVs more efficiently leverage the Microsoft ISV Royalty Licensing Program. The program enables ISVs to sell their software applications integrated with fully licensed Microsoft products such as Exchange, SQL Server, Office and SharePoint.

    "The Microsoft ISV royalty program is an extremely valuable resource for many ISVs," said Stacy Nethercoat, vice president, software product marketing, Tech Data. "It enables ISVs to develop software applications that fully integrate with many widely used Microsoft platforms. Tech Data and Microsoft are partnering to further enhance the program by making it easier for ISVs to identify and procure the right Microsoft product licenses, as well as performing many administrative tasks on their behalf."
