Nominations Open for Channel Insider 2009 Bull’s Eye Awards
Nominations are now open for the Channel Insider 2009 Bull’s Eye Awards, which recognize excellence in customer service, technology prowess, business acumen, channel leadership, communications and community building, and innovation among vendors, solution providers, distributors and channel services companies.
Strong growth categories this year include netbooks, multifunction printers, solid-state drives, wireless products, network attached storage solutions and storage area networks.
The worst may be over in relation to the sharp drop in IT industry sales that occurred over the past year, according to the Global Technology Distribution Council (GTDC).
The GTDC cited recent trends revealed by The NPD Group's Distributor Track, which captures GTDC members' actual U.S. sales.
