2. When customers have an issue with the service, they remember that the reseller recommended the service.
3. These unprofitable offerings sometimes compete with and displace the service provider's core offerings.
4. In theory, providing a solution to a customer's problems should enhance the relationship, but it often erodes influence and credibility over time.
