Every year you should take a look at a tier vendor list and have a clean out. Firing a vendor is maybe not what most VARs would consider doing, but unless that vendor is driving significant revenue for you, it is a waste of time having it in your portfolio. The technical expertise and sales knowledge needed just to have a vendor in your portfolio is huge and shouldn't be wasted on those vendors that are not boosting your bottom line.
