2. Edison Peres, Vice President of Worldwide Channels

Peres, based in New Jersey, focuses on channel strategies and partner programs, including go-to-market strategies, policies, programs and training. Peres is responsible for the company's alphabet soup of channel compensation and incentive programs (VIP, OIP and SIP), which reward partners for selling advanced technology such as unified communications, security and wireless. In addition, Peres has led cross-functional efforts within Cisco to transform internal processes, streamline new product introductions, and integrate channel and field sales strategies. Peres joined Cisco from Avaya in 2002. He has also served as president of Latin America and Canada for AT&T/Lucent's enterprise and consumer products groups, and has held management positions at Panasonic and Texas Instruments.
